The manufacturing of this instrument complies with the requirements specified in the industry standard SY/T5561 "Technical Conditions for Petroleum Product Kinematic Viscosity Testers" of the People's Republic of China. This instrument is suitable for measuring the kinematic viscosity of liquid petroleum products (referring to Newtonian liquids) under a constant temperature condition in accordance with the provisions of the Chinese standard GB/T265 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products and Algorithm for Dynamic Viscometers".

1. The instrument should be placed on a flat and stable experimental platform.
2. The liquid measured by this instrument is a Newtonian liquid, and its viscosity is independent of shear stress and shear rate.
3. Within different testing temperature ranges, different constant temperature bath liquids should be used for the constant temperature bath.
4. When testing the sample, an appropriate capillary viscometer should be selected according to the experimental temperature. It is necessary to ensure that the flow time of the sample in the capillary is not less than 200 seconds, and the flow time in the capillary viscometer with an inner diameter of 0.4mm is not less than 350 seconds.

Usage
(1) Preparation before testing
1. Before using this instrument, carefully read the user manual.
2. Carefully read the industry standard SY/T5561 "Technical Conditions for Petroleum Product Kinematic Viscosity Testers" of the People's Republic of Chinanational standardAccording to GB/T265 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products and Algorithm for Dynamic Viscometers", understand and be familiar with the testing methods, procedures, and requirements outlined in the standard.
3. Prepare various testing instruments, materials, etc. for testing according to the requirements specified in the standard.
4. Check the working status of this instrument to ensure it meets the working environment and conditions specified in the manual.
5. Check the casing of this instrument, which must be in good grounding condition.
(II)Usage
According to the test temperature used, fill the bathtub with the liquids listed in the table below:

Select an appropriate capillary viscometer based on the experimental temperature.
Turn on the power switch on the instrument panel, and the switch indicator light will turn on. At this time, both display windows of the temperature controller will have digital displays. The PV displays the temperature inside the bathtub at this time, and the SV displays the set temperature value.
Set the temperature control value according to the experimental requirements: Press the function key "SET" on the temperature controller panel once, and the SV value will flash. At this time, you can press the shift key "<", the plus key "∧" or the minus key "∨" to set the required temperature values. After all the values are set, press the function key "SET" again to complete the temperature control value setting.
When the temperature inside the bathtub reaches the set value, the output indicator (OUT) starts flashing and enters the temperature control state. After the measured value 'PV' stabilizes, use a glass thermometer to check whether the displayed value of the temperature controller instrument matches the actual value.
If the actual value detected by the glass thermometer does not match the displayed value of the temperature controller instrument, correction is required. For example, when the instrument display value is 80.0 ℃ and the glass thermometer detection value is 79.7 ℃, press the "SET" button, and the PV window will display 5C, making the SV value display -0.3 (if the glass thermometer detection value is 80.3 ℃, make the SV value display+0.3). After correction, press the "SET" button to exit.
7. After the temperature inside the bathtub is correct and stable, the test can be conducted according to the testing method of the People's Republic of Chinanational standardAccording to the requirements specified in GB/T265 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity of Petroleum Products and Algorithm for Dynamic Viscometers".
